Our expertise in piping systems covers the full lifecycle—from shop fabrication of spools to field installation and alignment, including comprehensive pipe support systems that ensure long-term operational integrity under harsh offshore conditions.

Scope of Piping Works:

Piping Fabrication (Shop and Site-Based):

Spool Fabrication based on isometric and P&ID drawings, with full material traceability and adherence to project quality standards.
Precision Cutting, Fit-Up, and Welding, performed by certified welders in compliance with project-specific WPS and international codes (ASME, API, DNV)
Preassembly and Hydrotesting, where applicable, to streamline field installation and reduce rework.

Piping Installation (Onshore and Offshore):

Onsite Installation of piping systems including process, utility, chemical injection, and drain lines, ensuring precise routing and support integration.
Alignment and Fit-Up to critical equipment interfaces (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers) ensuring mechanical and operational compliance.
Field Welding, Tie-Ins, and Testing, including hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests to verify system integrity.
Punch List Management and final walk-downs in coordination with EPC quality and commissioning teams.

Pipe Support Systems:

Design and Installation of a variety of pipe support types—rigid, spring, and dynamic supports—as per load calculations and stress analysis.
Fabrication of Custom Supports, including clamps, shoes, guides, and hangers from carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy materials.
Installation of Insulated and Non-Insulated Supports, ensuring proper load distribution and compliance with thermal expansion requirements.
Field Verification and adjustment of support systems during and post-installation to maintain structural stability.

Kombo Sul – FPSO New Build

For the Kombo Sul FPSO, JGR was engaged in the fabrication and installation of multiple vital utility systems. Our scope included:

Instrument Air System (MS piping) – 4,450 total dia-inch
Service Air System (MS piping) – 3,780 total dia-inch
Moonpool Vent System (MS piping) – 9,874 total dia-inch
Seawater System (MS piping) – 14,000 total dia-inch

Karish – FPSO Project

JGR contributed significantly to the Karish FPSO, supporting the hydraulic system tubing installation with specialized stainless steel materials:

Hydraulic Tubing (SS 12mm) – 3,893 meters
Hydraulic Tubing (SS 10mm) – 1,258 meters

Asia Vision / Asia Energy LNG

JGR played a crucial role in the conversion of the Asia Vision / Asia Energy vessels, primarily focusing on the fresh water system, with an estimated total of 12,000 dia-inches. Our involvement in this large-scale piping conversion highlights our flexibility and technical ability in brownfield modification projects.
